I received a sample packet that made 5 Servings of Eggnog Matcha to review. I prefer hot drinks, so I first tried it as a hot tea latte made with warm milk. The eggnog matcha latte was creamy and had a vanilla custard taste. I was expecting it to taste alot like eggnog but thought wait a minute, “I’ve never even had a cup of hot eggnog anyways”.
So, I made my second serving as a cold green tea frappe. It’s super easy to make without any complicated directions. You just add 1/2 teaspoon of the Eggnog Matcha with 6-8 oz of milk and a few ice cubes, then blend. That’s where all the eggnog taste is at!
I’m not a big time drinker of sweet drinks so I was pleasantly surprised that the eggnog matcha was mildy sweet.
I would recommend the Red Leaf Tea Eggnog Matcha for those times when we just want to wind down and relax.
What is Matcha? It’s a special powdered green tea leaf powder and the healthiest green tea on earth. The leaves are what carries the most natural antioxidant nutrients.
